Actress And Singer Hailee Steinfeld Gives Birth To First Child

Hailee Steinfeld has become a mother for the first time. The singer and actress shared on Thursday that she has welcomed a daughter with American football player Josh Allen.

The couple did not reveal the girl’s name. “Our little daughter has been born,” Steinfeld wrote on Substack. “We feel incredibly grateful and blessed and are enjoying these first moments. Thank you so much for all the love and good wishes.”

The 29-year-old actress secretly married Allen in California last year. The two announced their relationship in 2023.

Steinfeld broke through as an actress in 2010 with her role in the western *True Grit*. She gained more recognition thanks to her role in the *Pitch Perfect* film series, in which she also sings.

Partly thanks to those films, Steinfeld also built a musical career. She scored hits such as *Love Myself* and *Most Girls*. Last year, she appeared in the Oscar-winning film *Sinners*.
