According to the 30-year-old singer, the condition has caught up with her recently. “It is one big torment,” she says.

Doja Cat calls it a “painful” condition and says that she has been in therapy for years to cope with it. The singer explains that from a young age, she often tried to hide her feelings and pretended that everything was fine. Eventually, she could no longer keep that up.

Borderline personality disorder is a mental illness that can be accompanied by severe mood swings, impulsive behavior, and unstable relationships.

Despite her diagnosis, Doja Cat is proud of the progress she has made thanks to therapy.
