Alex Warren was born in Carlsbad, California. He grew up skateboarding and shared his first skateboarding content on Instagram in May 2015. In 2019, he founded the TikTok group The Hype House.

A year later, he became the host of the reality show AwesomenessTV’s Next Influencer on YouTube.

In 2021, an unscripted series called The Hype House premiered on Netflix. Warren became one of the stars of this show.

Music ran in Warren’s blood from a young age. Through his father, who bought him a Fender guitar, he was introduced to bands like Coldplay, Linkin Park, and Train. In 2021, Warren decided to fully commit to music.

That year, he released his first single, “One More I Love You,” which deals with his traumatic childhood.

The singles “Screaming Underwater” and “Remember Me Happy” followed that same year. He wrote the latter on the day his mother passed away. A year later, Warren signed a record contract with Atlantic Records.

“Headlights” became the first single he released with this label. Later, the songs “Chasing Shadows”, “Give You Love”, “Change Your Mind”, “How Could You (Be Ok)”, and “Yard Sale” were added.

In February 2024, Warren experienced his international breakthrough with the ballad Before You Leave Me. The next single, “Save You a Seat”, did not chart, but its successor, Carry You Home, became Warren’s second hit and surpassed the success of “Before You Leave Me”.

In early September 2024, the single Troubled Waters was released, but it did not do much in the charts. Its successor, Burning Down, became a much bigger hit.

In early 2025, Warren released the single Ordinary, with which he reached the number 1 position in various countries.
