Justin Trudeau Positive About ‘Stepmother’ Katy Perry

Xavier Trudeau has commented for the first time on the relationship between his father, Justin Trudeau, and singer Katy Perry. The eighteen-year-old Canadian says in an Instagram video that he met Perry and finds her a nice person.

In the conversation with influencer G Hobs, Xavier says the pop star also gave him advice about his own musical ambitions. He doesn’t reveal exactly what that advice entailed.

Hobs also asks him about Perry’s brief space trip in 2025. According to Xavier, they haven’t discussed it yet.

Justin Trudeau and Perry were first seen together in July 2025. In recent months, the former Canadian prime minister and the singer have appeared together more frequently.

Trudeau has three children with his ex-wife Sophie Grégoire: sons Xavier and Hadrien, and daughter Ella-Grace. Perry had daughter Daisy Dove with her then-partner Orlando Bloom.

The two announced their separation last year.
