Jake Paul Undergoes New Jaw Surgery

Jake Paul has undergone a second surgery on his jaw. He broke it in his lost boxing fight against Anthony Joshua. Some of the screws and titanium plates that were placed during the previous surgery have come loose.

“I had to have another jaw surgery,” the 29-year-old Paul wrote on Instagram. “The screws and plates were loose, apparently because I didn’t get enough rest for the past two months.”

Paul broke his jaw two months ago during a fight with boxing champion Joshua. In the sixth round, Joshua knocked him out with a hard punch to the jaw. Shortly after that fight, Paul had another surgery; two titanium plates were placed and several teeth had to be removed.

In one of the videos Paul shared with the post, he can be seen in a wheelchair being pushed by his fiancée, Jutta Leerdam.

The Dutch speed skater recently won gold and silver at the Milan Winter Olympics. Paul attended both of Leerdam’s competitions.
