Kim Kardashian responded to the criticism her daughter North West is receiving on her sister Khloé’s podcast. Kim and Ye’s twelve-year-old daughter is a frequent topic of conversation due to her striking outfits, dyed hair, and finger piercings.

“I think a common misconception is that people think, ‘Oh, she’s just trying to be her daughter’s best friend and lets everything happen,'” Kardashian said on Wednesday’s podcast.

But according to Kardashian, her daughter has many rules to follow. “I do give her the space to express herself, though; that’s her freedom.

I don’t think anyone understands what I’m dealing with unless they’re in my shoes,” she emphasizes.

Kardashian, meanwhile, believes she has stricter rules for her two youngest children, eight-year-old Chicago and six-year-old Psalm. “My two oldest children have phones; the two youngest don’t.”

According to Kardashian, the first child essentially grows up with the parent. “You discover everything together.

Then you learn from it and realize you might want to approach parenting things differently.”

Kardashian, 45, has four children with Kanye West, better known as Ye: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

After seven years of marriage, Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021.
