Wunmi Mosaku Announces Pregnancy

Wunmi Mosaku announced on the Golden Globes red carpet Sunday evening that she is expecting her second child. The actress said in an interview with Variety that she is relieved to finally be able to share the news.

“Hiding a pregnancy is very difficult,” said 39-year-old Mosaku. “It feels like a huge relief to just be in the moment and accept myself for who I am.” She proudly posed on the red carpet with her hands on her stomach.

Mosaku stars in Sinners. The vampire film was nominated seven times for a Golden Globe and ultimately won two awards: Best Score and Best Box Office Achievement.

The British-Nigerian actress is also known for films such as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Call Jane. She has also starred in series such as Loki, Luther, and Lovecraft Country.
