Prime Video is launching a documentary series about former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson in February. The 34-year-old singer announced on Instagram that Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix will be released on February 13.

Amazon previously reported that the series will follow Nelson on her journey to motherhood. The singer gave birth to twins in May and spent three months in the hospital around their birth.

She suffered from twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, a condition in which too much blood flows from one fetus to the other. She required surgery.

The two girls were also diagnosed with a rare muscle disease at birth. The twins are currently receiving treatment but will likely never walk.

“They will probably never regain their neck strength, so they will be disabled,” Nelson previously said. “So the best we can do right now is treat them and hope for the best.”

Nelson decided to leave the successful British girl group Little Mix in 2020 to focus on her mental health and a solo career. In 2021, she released her debut single Boyz featuring Nicki Minaj.
