Damiano David & Dove Cameron Confirm Engagement

Damiano David and Dove Cameron have confirmed their engagement. TMZ reported this fall, based on a large new ring Cameron was wearing, that the rock band Måneskin lead singer and the Disney Channel actress were engaged.

The couple, who have been together for two years, confirmed their engagement on Instagram on Saturday. “My favorite part of being alive,” Cameron, 29, wrote alongside a series of photos of the couple dancing romantically together. The final photos zoom in on the ring.

The couple celebrated their two-year anniversary in October. Cameron wrote at the time that her years with David were “the best years of my life.”

“I cry at least once a week because life is so beautiful with you. I love you in a way I can never put into words, but I’ll never stop trying.”

The two met at the MTV VMAs, when they were both nominated in the “New Artist” category.

26-year-old David achieved international fame with Maneskin in 2021, winning the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam with the song Zitti E Buoni.

A previously recorded cover of the song Beggin’ subsequently became a huge hit in the United States. David is also active as a solo artist. His album Funny Little Fears was released last May.

Cameron achieved her acting breakthrough in the Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie and in the film series Descendants, about the children of famous Disney heroes and villains.

She is also a singer. Last year, she opened for British singer Dua Lipa.
