Animal rights organization PETA is unhappy with the Christmas gifts Kim Kardashian gave her children. The reality star surprised each of her four children with a puppy.

According to PETA, Kardashian, who has millions of followers on social media, is not setting a good example.

“Puppies are not stuffed animals, and it’s truly unfortunate that Kim missed the opportunity to be a spokesperson for shelter dogs,” PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk told People.

The organization encourages Kardashian to “make amends” by having her children volunteer at animal shelters. The reality star has not yet responded to PETA’s statement.

Kardashian and her ex-husband, Ye, have four children: North (12), Saint (10), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6).

Khloe Kardashian, Kim’s younger sister, also gave her children a puppy for Christmas. Her Instagram Stories show her children playing with a black Labrador.
