Bad Bunny The Big Winner

Bad Bunny won the award for Best Album at the Latin Grammys for Debi Tirar Mas Fotos. The Puerto Rican artist took home five awards from twelve nominations, including multiple honors in the urban categories.

He was also recognized for Best Urban/Urban Fusion Performance, Best Reggaeton Performance, Best Urban Music Album, and Best Urban Song. His album Debi Tirar Mas Fotos is also in the running for a Grammy, with the winner to be announced at the ceremony in February.

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, the artist’s real name, has also made headlines in recent weeks because his new tour does not include any shows on the U.S. mainland. He stated that he was afraid fans could become targets of immigration raids led by U.S. President Donald Trump.

One exception is his performance during the Super Bowl halftime show on February 8 in Santa Clara, California.

The NFL final’s show attracts over 100 million American viewers annually, with millions more worldwide.
